I thought it was best to move this furnace you see in the photo on the left and you can see the results of this design thought in the photo on the right. I couldn't believe a builder would drop a furnace this close to a stairway. Well yes I can, I've seen it hundreds of times and without any thought of how the home owner may need to use their basements.
