Before I Design, I study the space like this one in the top photo. Notice the red post holding the I – beam by the door located at the bottom of the stairway in this photo? Using the measurements, the photos and your needs emailed to me, I then put all this info on the CAD software and I study all of this first (A free quote to deign your project will come from me at this stage). See the 3D graphics page for an example of what I can produce for you.
Considering all that you desire in your new space, the Same Basement above, when designed, will be framed "AS PER PLAN" like this example in the 2nd photo down. Now notice that the poles holding the I – beam is now the center of two archways and the stairway is open and the door is removed along with the old walls.
You might agree, the finished photo below does not look like A Basement. When your basement is professionally space planned and designed, you can expect it to look like it's not really a basement. Having over 90,000 hours on the CAD software, with over 2000 designs under my belt, backed by over 35 years of naturally gifted experience in construction speaks for itself and almost anything is possible.
I design much more than just basements by the way. Additions, sunrooms, Kitchens and whole houses and or just update and redesign your existing homes floor plan. Yeah, move a few walls around if you like or maybe you'd like that laundry upstairs where the dirty clothes are in the first place. Just name it and I'll tell you if I can do it.
Notice those post holding the I – beam? Not any longer. This is how I deal with all the complications in your basement but it must be studied and then put onto my CAD software which also provides you with many cool 3D graphics views as images of what it would be like standing in the newly designed basement. Yes, this is the best way to see it first hand and to know what it will look like before you spend money building it. This is a must for getting comparison quotes to build your basement using the Basement Design as well. See the Basement Design CAD samples page for an example of what I can produce for you.
May I create an illusion for you too?
